The black community complaining loudly the police have decided not to arrest an alleged murderer. Rightfully so. What kind of state is it that lets murderers walk free? Is that what freedom in America means?
But listen to what they are shouting - "Justice for Trayvon Martin". As if justice meant he could be ressurected. To these blacks, (regrettably there were no whites calling for this), justice means that Zimmerman should be arrested, tried for murder and punished accordingly. This happens to black people all the time and it should happen to whites also! The Old Testament tells us about justice, and it usually involves blood sacrifice. The New Black Panthers are losing no dignity pleading with the deaf justice system, they have issued their own 'Dead or Alive' reward.
But these disgruntled people are unwittingly playing into the hands of the Obama faction. If the electorate is carved up along national racial lines, then war, depression, corruption, bank fraud etc. can all step aside. The elites can continue their mega-crimes as normal, in their names. Furthermore, just like the Egyptians calling for Mubarak to step down, once their demand is met, does it change anything?
So instead of baying for blood and frightening white people, the black community should be calling for mercy. Mercy for Zimmerman and mercy for themselves. Think of it. Zimmermann is a very sad case. A man whose life was so empty that he took to patrolling the streets looking for trouble. A man so afraid of his neighbours that he carried a gun. A man so stupid and lost that he created fantasy villains to apprehend, and wound up shooting one.
By diverting attention away from Zimmermann's crime and towards his all-to-common malaise, the issue is not about one man's deviance and one crime, but about the integrity of our communities. By calling for Zimmermann to receive proper treatment, the issue becomes non-confrontational, and focuses attention on the wider issues. 'Mercy' doesn't mean 'fuggedaboutdid', Zimmerman should still be arrested and tried. It means that Zimmerman would be healthier and happier in care of the state than at the hands of the mob he unwittingly enraged.
That's why I'm shouting "MERCY FOR ZIMMERMAN, MERCY FOR AMERICA"!
