Dear Mr Huber,
The decision of your committee seems very short-sighted to me as a non-German. The Nazis did many depraved things but we would do well to learn from their monetary policy if we wanted to execute say, a green new deal or reduce our subservience to private banking interests. Of course communicating with the electorate requires care with language, but the cause of monetary reform will get nowhere without also educating the electorate.
Furthermore, condemning Italian language, and its author because of its German translation is absurd.
I deplore political labelling - maybe some of my friends are 'Right Wing' by your definition. I don't know if Marco Salba is 'Right Wing' I only know that he speaks truth to me through his blog, as do many authors, many of which I'm sure would meet with your approval. If I judge you by the company you keep, then I am an idiot and a Pharisee, and you can say so in public.
If he is your friend, stand with him, keep your personal integrity and answer your accusers with your head held high. If he is not your friend and not your employeee, then you don't have to justify excluding him. But do not give lame excuses and then be ashamed of your former associations. If you exclude him it should be on the grounds of something concrete, justifiable and factual, not on the grounds of where 'people' might place him on an artificial and unhelpful spectrum.
As a general political strategy building bridges in all directions has to be more secure than burning them.
For the sake of your credibility, Please offer some substantive reason for excluding Marco Salba
Matthew Slater
